We are looking for two Childrens Residential Managers for 2 West Yorkshire based Childrens Residential homes.

The salary is £24,480 -to £29,000.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a national provider of care to Children and Adults with learning disabilities. As an experienced Childrens Residential Manager you must have experience in managing a home that has service users with learning disabilities and/or challenging behaviour. A minimum requirement for the role is that you must hold an NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care - Children and Young People. This is a great opportunity to gain extra qualifications and take your managerial career to the next level. Although the job is mainly based around office hours the successful candidate will need a driving licence & use of your own vehicle as there will be the requirement for you to be on call. A good level of academic ability, including the ability to read and write in English, is essential. At least two years proven management experience is essential. A minimum of three years practical experience of working with and on behalf of people with learning disabilities and complex behaviours is essential. A professional qualification in Health (RNMH), Education or Social Work (Dip. SW) is desirable, as is NVQ Level 4 in Care Management. The post holder must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and consistently utilising a variety of methods and approaches.
